Kumarakom

Kumarakom is an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Kumarakom Lake is an exquisite treat and a vivid reflection of the true culture of Kerala located in Kottayam district. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake and is part of Kuttanad region. The Kumarakom Lake has a bird sanctuary on its banks. The birds found here include cormorants, darters, herons, egrets, open-billed storks, spoonbills and white ibis. The lake is surrounded by coconut trees and rice fields which are cultivated on its banks. The main attractions of Kumarakom Lake are Kerala backwaters and the Ayurvedic resorts.

Alappuzha

Alappuzha lake or Alleppey lake is known as the ‘Venice of the East’. Alleppey is the hub of Kerala backwaters that has something unique and captivating you with rustic charm & conveniences.
